On October 2, QPIRG Concordia held a workshop teaching participants how to file an Access to Information (ATI) request as facilitated by editor-at-large for the Montreal Media Co-op and writer for the Guardian Martin Lukacs. Part of a larger series called Another Word for Gender, the workshop aimed to give the tools for requesting information from public institutions and government branches to help community organizing and journalism.
In this new series, Nicolas Quiazua gives an update on the ATI case involving McGill University, as well as provide a step-by-step guide to filing your own ATI.
This page will be updated with more information and documents on how to file an ATI.
